What do Augburg students study?
We provide students, from our kindergarten-4 through Grade 12 classes, a traditional education
centered on the liberal arts and sciences.From the youngest to the oldest, students are instructed in
English and the langauge arts, mathematics, world languages, science, history and social studies,
music, fine art, physical education and wellness, and, of course, religious education and theology.

What are some of the books you use in classes?
Excellent question! A representative sample of our texts include: SRA phonics, Primary Mathematics
and Discovering Mathematics from Singapore Math, Delta Science, Project WILD, Spaulding
Educational Spelling, Horizons Manuscript and Penmanship, and much more.

Are your classes standards based?
Absolutely. We are developing our own, customized standards and scope-and-sequence documents,
but using the materials provided by the individual curriculum providers, we ensure that our programs
meet or exceed the established national and state standards in each academic area..

Do yoiu have detailed information available online?
Not at the present time, because we are revising the curriculum guide. However, we do have Grade
Level Overviews available for each grade, and if you send an email with the grade you'd like to see,
we'll be happy to send you a copy.
