A musician and theologian. Mr. Butler has studied at Morgan State University, and has his bachelor's degree from Washington Bible College. He has also completed a program in urban music at the Harvard Divinity School.
Years of experience teaching students. Prior to joining the Augsburg faculty, Dan has taught for more than seven years at the Arts and Technology Academy in Washington, DC, as well as the Capital Hill Arts Workshop.
Committed to Christian education. Butler joined the Academy family because of his personal commitment to Christian education and Christian schools. He is also excited to work in a diverse community such as Augsburg, with students from a variety of social, culture, and economic backgrounds.
