Energetic, enthusiastic, and devoted. Parents, students, and colleagues use all three words to describe Mrs. Driscoll, who joins Augsburg this school year as the assistant kindergarten teacher. She has over sixteen years of experience in early childhood education. Most recently on the staff of The Newport School, Mrs. Driscoll brings her extensive experience to the kindergarten classroom at Augsburg.
She acquired her accreditation to teach preschool about 16 years ago. Since then, she has been fortunate to have worked at some of the finest schools in the area including The Newport School and Sidwell Friends, and now Augsburg Academy. She is a dedicated educator of young children who believes in creating a highly academic, creative, well-rounded classroom. She is currently attending University to gain more credentials.Mrs. Driscoll is married with cats and lives in Silver Spring. In her spare time, she enjoy cooking and staying active through hiking and kickboxing. She is excited to be part of the staff here at Augsburg Academy.
