2008-2009 Scholarship Winner Named. Mary Zwolak, of Bowie, Maryland, is the winner of the inaugural Scholarship Contest. Her granddaughter, Maryse. is a seventh-grader attending Augsburg Academy tuition-free for the coming school year. As an extra bonus, the Academy Board announced five $1000 grants, ten $750 grants, and twenty $500 grants as well. Congratulations to our winners!
Special $500 grant for "orphaned" students. The Academy Board has also authorized a special $500 grant for students transferring to Augsburg Academy for 2008-2009 from any private or parochial school which has closed in the last two years. Students of the former Newport School are especially encouraged to apply for our expedited admissions consideration.
